County Clerk

My name is Tina Browning, Trimble County Clerk.  I am lifetime resident of Trimble County and a 1986 graduate of Trimble County High School.  I have over 30 years’ experience in the County Clerk’s office, 20 years as Deputy Clerk and 12 years as County Clerk.  I am a member of the Kentucky County Clerk’s Association, serving on the Recording Committee, serving as assistant Highway District Representative, and serving many years ON THE Election Committee.  In 2020, I was one of four County Clerks to receive the Commonwealth Ambassador Citation from Secretary of State Michael Adams, for my work in Election Planning.  I have enjoyed serving the people of Trimble County and take pride in our community.

Office Functions

The County Clerk’s office keeps and maintains the following record: deeds, real estate mortgages, encumbrances, articles of incorporation, wills, county orders, ordinances, marriages licenses, county records, voting records, plats, delinquent taxes, fixture filings, title lien statements, fiscal court minutes and notary public bonds.

Voter registration, election information, and candidate filing information are kept in the county clerk’s office.

Marriage license information is kept in the clerk’s office along with issuing the marriage license.

The County Clerk’s office issues titles, registrations and title liens on all auto truck, motorcycles, motor homes, mobile homes utility and flatbed trailers, and with some restriction, title only on all terrain vehicles.
