The office of the County Judge/Executive serves the residents of Trimble County. Judge/Executive John D. Ogburn Jr. believes that an open-door policy for all residents is the best way to address and serve the needs and wants of the people.

Fiscal Court Meeting
Fiscal Court proceedings are held on the first and third Monday of each month (except in January and February, when they meet on the third Tuesday). Meetings on the first Monday are at 6:30 p.m. Meetings on the third Monday are at 9:00 a.m. The December meeting is held at the Trimble County Extension Office, but the rest are inside the Trimble County Fiscal Court Building.

Office Closures
Thursday, July 2 and Friday July 3, 2026 offices will be closed in observance of Independence Day Holiday.
Magistrates
Trimble County has four magistrates representing the four districts of the county. They each represent near-equal populations and have an equal vote on matters of concern to the Fiscal Court.
