Thank you for visiting the Trimble County Planning and Zoning Page. Residents can find information here pertaining to Planning and Zoning in Trimble County and the newly adopted Building Inspection Program.

The Trimble County Planning and Zoning Commission is created by local government to guide the county’s physical development in accordance with our Comprehensive Plan. Planning & Zoning reviews development proposals for compliance and appropriateness with our locally adopted plans and regulations to provide balanced growth in the county. It monitors development activity and requires conformance through property code enforcement for public health and safety.

Our priority is to foster a vibrant and sustainable community that honors our agricultural heritage and rural roots while fostering progress, creating a balance between responsible growth and economic vitality and creating a community that is a desirable place to live and work.
